Water is a scarce commodity in some countries. In some countries the rain keeps on pouring but then in the dry seasons it is far too little. Healthy and clean drinking water is also becoming increasingly scarce and in many places in the world, the worst thing is that the business community is getting a taste of this issue and beginning to privatized natural resources.
The fact is that people can live with much less water than is currently the case. People now use between 150 and 250 liters of water per person per day in the west, a large part of which is uselessly washed away. In the West we can do a lot for the environment if we just use drinking water from the tap. Our tap water is safe, clean and delicious in most places in Europe, America and Japan.
