Watch your weight against world hunger
A global study – involving almost 500 scientists in 50 countries –concludes that for the first time, the number of people eating too much outweighs the number of people eating too little. A healthy body weight reduces the risk of chronic diseases, such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, certain forms of cancer and overload injuries. More important: if we would eat less and food production would be divided more equally over the world population, no-one would die from hunger or malnutrition. Two solution we can easily put in effect today.
