The transition to a sustainable society cannot take much longer. But how can we still turn this ship around? How can we move towards a system that does not produce waste, in which raw materials are circulated and therefore do not get exhausted? Albert Einstein, one of the most important physicists in history, once said the following_ “The world will not evolve past its current state of crisis by using the same thinking that created the situation”.
A new way of thinking and working is called “biomimicry”. This science studies natural designs and translates and imitates them into solutions that solve current social problems faster, smarter and cleaner. All organisms that surround us have already found what works for them, what is suitable and what can continue to exist in an environment with limited resources.
